Unable to free himself after a thousand years of struggle, Gajendra surrenders completely to Lord Vishnu with a heartfelt prayer, recognizing that only the Supreme can deliver him from the cycle of suffering. Lord Vishnu, moved by His devotee's total surrender, rushes to his rescue and grants Gajendra the ultimate liberation, transforming this moment into one of the most celebrated examples of Sharanagati in all of scripture.
