Citraketu Insults Shiva-Parvati & Recieves Mother's Curse
శ్రీమద్భాగవతం షష్ఠ స్కంధంలోని ఈ ఘట్టంలో, విష్ణుభక్తుడైన విద్యాధర రాజు చిత్రకేతుడు కైలాస పర్వతముపై శివపార్వతులను దర్శించుకుంటాడు. మహర్షుల సమక్షంలో పార్వతీసమేతుడైన శివుని చూసి, చిత్రకేతుడు అవివేకముతో అగౌరవపూర్వకమైన మాటలు పలుకుతాడు. పరమేశ్వరుని పట్ల భర్తృభక్తితో నిండిన పార్వతీదేవి ఆగ్రహముతో చిత్రకేతునికి రాక్షసుడిగా జన్మించమని శాపమిస్తుంది. అయినప్పటికీ చిత్రకేతుడు ఆ శాపమును సంపూర్ణ సమభావముతో స్వీకరించి, తన ఆత్మజ్ఞానమును మరియు భగవద్భక్తిని ప్రకటిస్తాడు.
In this episode from Canto 6 of the Srimad Bhagavatham, the great Vidyadhara king Citraketu, empowered by Vishnu's grace and the knowledge of the self, encounters Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati on Mount Kailasa. Upon seeing Shiva resting openly with Parvati in the presence of sages, Citraketu makes a bold and disrespectful remark, failing to recognize the transcendental nature of the divine couple. Mother Parvati, unwilling to tolerate such insolence toward her beloved Lord, rises in righteous anger and curses Citraketu to be born as a demon. With complete equanimity and devotion, Citraketu humbly accepts the curse, revealing the depth of his spiritual realization and surrender to the Lord's will.
