In this sacred episode from Canto 5 of the Srimad Bhagavatham, we explore the story of King Nabhi, who performed the Putrakameshti Yajna with deep devotion, yearning for a divine son. Pleased by the sincerity of the ritual and the prayers of the assembled sages, Lord Vishnu Himself appeared before the king and blessed him. As a result of this extraordinary divine grace, the Lord agreed to incarnate as Nabhi's son, leading to the birth of the illustrious Rishabhadeva.
