Despite composing the Vedas, Puranas, and the Mahabharata, the great sage Vyasa finds himself gripped by a deep sense of incompleteness and spiritual restlessness. The divine sage Narada arrives at the right moment and reveals that Vyasa's dissatisfaction stems from his failure to fully glorify the Supreme Lord Sri Hari in all His splendor. Narada then recounts his own past life — how hearing the devotional teachings of great saints in his childhood sowed the seeds of unwavering bhakti within him. Inspired by Narada's compassionate guidance, Vyasa resolves to compose the Srimad Bhagavatam, a work dedicated entirely to the glories of the Lord.
