In this sacred episode of the Srimad Bhagavatham, we explore the fearsome act of Ashwatthama, the son of Dronacharya, who in a fit of rage and vengeance releases the devastating Brahmastra weapon after the fall of the Kauravas. Unable to be retrieved due to his incomplete mastery, this unstoppable celestial weapon threatens to annihilate the entire Pandava lineage and the child in Uttara's womb. Sri Krishna, the supreme protector of His devotees, intervenes with His divine grace to shield the unborn Parikshit and preserve the Pandava dynasty. This episode reveals how divine protection prevails over even the most catastrophic of human actions when the Lord's devotees are under His shelter.
