దీర్ఘకాలం తీర్థయాత్రలు చేసిన తరువాత మహాత్ముడైన విదురుడు హస్తినాపురానికి తిరిగి వచ్చి, దుఃఖితుడైన ధృతరాష్ట్రునిచే ఆదరంగా స్వాగతించబడతాడు. పుత్రశోకంలో మునిగి పాండవుల ఆశ్రయంపై ఆధారపడుతున్న ధృతరాష్ట్రుని స్థితిని గమనించిన విదురుడు, వైరాగ్యంతో కూడిన గంభీరమైన హితోపదేశం చేస్తాడు. నిజమైన హితైషిగా విదురుడు, కాలం మించిపోకముందే సర్వాసక్తులను వదిలి భగవంతునిపై మనసు నిలపమని ధృతరాష్ట్రుని హృదయపూర్వకంగా హెచ్చరిస్తాడు.
After years of tirtha yatra, the great sage Vidura returns to Hastinapura and is welcomed with deep reverence by the grieving Dhritarashtra. Recognizing the blind king's attachment to his lost sons and his dependence on the charity of the Pandavas, Vidura offers him sharp and compassionate counsel rooted in detachment and self-knowledge. With the wisdom of a true well-wisher, Vidura urges Dhritarashtra to renounce his lingering desires and turn his heart toward the Supreme Lord before time runs out.
