In this profound episode of Srimad Bhagavatham Canto 1, we witness the sacred passing of Bhishma Pitamaha, who departs his body with his mind fixed upon Lord Sri Krishna. The great grandsire imparts timeless wisdom to the Pandavas before merging into the Supreme, leaving behind an eternal legacy of devotion and dharma. Following this deeply moving event, Lord Sri Krishna prepares to depart from Hastinapura and return to His beloved city of Dwaraka, bidding farewell to the Pandavas and the grieving Kuru family.
