Lifting and Rescuing the Earth from the Abyss
శ్రీమద్భాగవతం తృతీయ స్కంధంలోని ఈ పవిత్రమైన ఘట్టంలో, భగవాన్ శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువు వరాహ అవతారమెత్తి, సముద్రగర్భమున మునిగిపోయిన భూదేవిని రక్షించిన అద్భుతమైన లీలను వివరిస్తాము. హిరణ్యాక్షుడు భూదేవిని బలవంతంగా పాతాళ సముద్రపు లోతులకు తీసుకుపోగా, సమస్త సృష్టి దిక్కుతోచని స్థితిలో పడింది. శ్రీ వరాహ స్వామి హిరణ్యాక్షునితో ఘోరమైన యుద్ధం చేసి, అతనిని సంహరించి, తన దంష్ట్రలపై భూదేవిని ఆనించి మహా ప్రేమతో పైకి తీసుకొచ్చారు. ధర్మ రక్షణకై భగవంతుడు ఏ రూపంలోనైనా అవతరించి భక్తులను కాపాడతాడని ఈ లీల మనకు స్పష్టంగా చాటి చెప్తుంది.
In this sacred episode from Canto 3 of Srimad Bhagavatham, we explore the magnificent pastime of Lord Vishnu appearing as Varaha, the divine Boar, to rescue Mother Earth from the depths of the cosmic ocean. The demon Hiranyaksha had seized the Earth and plunged her into the primordial waters, leaving all creation in despair, until the Lord descended to restore cosmic order. With thunderous valor, Sri Varaha defeated Hiranyaksha in a great battle and gently lifted the Earth upon His tusks, restoring her to her rightful place in the universe. This episode reminds us that the Lord is ever ready to protect His devotees and uphold Dharma, no matter the depth of darkness into which the world may fall.
