In this sacred episode from Canto 4 of the Srimad Bhagavatham, we explore the dark reign of King Vena, whose arrogance and impiety led him to forbid all worship and sacrifice meant for the Supreme Lord. The great sages, unable to tolerate his adharma, ultimately brought about his downfall through the power of their divine curse. From the lifeless body of Vena, the noble and radiant King Prithu is then miraculously manifested, heralding a new era of righteousness and divine order upon the earth.
