In this sacred episode from the Fourth Canto of Srimad Bhagavatham, Lord Shiva's rage subsides and the devastated yajna grounds are restored through divine grace. By the mercy of Lord Vishnu and the prayers of the assembled sages, Daksha is revived with a goat's head in place of his own, which had been consumed in the sacrificial fire. The other fallen demigods and sages are also healed and restored to life, and the interrupted yajna is finally completed with great devotion and reverence. This deeply moving episode illustrates that the Lord's compassion ultimately prevails, and that even the gravest of conflicts can be resolved through surrender and sincere prayer.
