In this profound episode, we explore the divine arrival of Sukadeva Goswami at the banks of the Ganges, where the great sage graces the assembly of sages and King Parikshit with his transcendental presence. We reflect on how this self-realized soul, who emerged from the womb already liberated, became the chosen narrator of the Srimad Bhagavatham to a king facing death in seven days. This episode also marks the beautiful conclusion of the First Canto, laying the sacred foundation for the glories that unfold in the cantos to come.

Salutations to Lord Purushottama. Third Canto Ninth Chapter Nineteenth Prayer. Oh, devotees of God, previously, Sribhagavatam, Tattvadipika, First Canto, 20. Eightieth part. In the last part, in the first book, until now, we, King Parikshit, the king, that Angirasa sage putting a snake around his neck, after seeing that, the children, their sons, giving a curse, We heard the story of how, feeling sad, he stopped them. Let's start with the basics. After Parikshit threw the snake around the sage's neck and entered his town, he began to regret the mistake he had made He continued to blame himself. Regarding the enlightened Brahman, who is endowed with secret and radiant knowledge, I have committed a heinous offense without any fault. This insult to the Brahmin is like insulting the gods themselves. I cannot avoid the sorrow that is inevitable to overcome this quickly. It's good to have that pain. I will not do such a bad thing again. The fire of the crime committed against that sage who was born in the Brahmin lineage will burn away my kingdom, army, and wealth. By burning like that, one gains knowledge that one should not do any other work. I will never do such a sinful act to the gods, cows, and Brahmins.

In this way, as he was thinking, he heard that the Brahmin's son, Takshaka, had cursed him to be bitten by a snake and killed. He thought that the curse would do him good. Considering that this curse is the cause of his attachment to worldly matters, and being detached, considering him as one who can give up pleasures in this world and pleasures in the next world, and considering serving the lotus feet of Sri Krishna as the greatest, the Ganges river He was ready to perform the last rites at the shore. He who recognized that death is near to him, at such a time, the Ganges river, which has the lotus feet of the Lord, with waters mixed with Tulasi leaves, and the worlds mixed with the worlds, is enough to purify sin, isn't it? Before dying, having decided what is the duty, leaving the body, relatives, and the community, he was meditating on the feet of Sri Krishna without any other thoughts. Many sages, who are great and holy, along with their disciples, came to the presence of that great virtuous and great devotee. With the pilgrimage of the holy places, the great men They go to the sacred places and make them sacred. Atri, Vasishta, Chavana, and Sharadvan. Arishtanemi, Bhrigu, Angirasudu, Dwaipayunudu, Parasharudu, Vishwamitrudu, Parashuramudu, Agastya, Narada, and all the other divine sages and Brahmarshis gathered for the occasion. Many royal warriors also came to the battle. The sage who conducted the examination, the sages who had gathered, all the sages, he greeted and worshipped them. After everyone sat comfortably, with a pleasant mind, he stood before them with folded hands and requested what he wanted. I am the one who was born into a royal family with a noble character and committed actions that deserve to be condemned, to be blessed by great men like you. I have sinned against a great man. The great man, who is the supreme being, as if to bless me, made the Brahmin's son curse. The curse is the blessing. Without it, I will not have any displeasure. Oh Brahmins, you, this sacred thing, on the banks of the Ganges, by what means should I, relying on which means, abandon what is to be abandoned and attain what is to be attained?

He prayed to God to make it known. Grant me the grace that I may have love for God and for His devotees. I have been born in many births, and may I have a favorable feeling towards people like you in those births. With such determination, the king entrusted his kingdom to his son, Janamejaya. Ganga, facing north on the southern bank, sat down with a resolution for the protest vow to the ancient cities in the Darbha forest. In this way, as Parikshit was ready and seated for the Prayopavesham, the gods gathered in the sky, rejoiced in his determination, and showered flowers. The cannon fired. Having reached there, all the sages, with the certainty that death would occur in seven days, praised the king who was in exile. It is not surprising that such a nature exists in your family, who have taken refuge in the best of the best, Krishna, and have received his blessings. Oh great men, you who desired the presence of God and renounced even the royal crown. This Bhagavata Pradhana, leaving this world, until he reaches the heaven that is beyond the Rajas and Tamas, here itself They all thought that we would stay. The words of the sages were tested by Parikshit. Hearing the words of those who are truly beneficial and truthful, who are shedding nectar, and wishing to listen to the story of Vishnu, he said this to them. There is no other reason except that you have chosen me. I have a question to ask. I pray that you will criticize and teach me. The man who is ready to die, will tell what to do with the mind, speech, and body. Thus, while Parikshit was questioning the sages, without thinking of being in any desire, Vyasa's son, wandering on his own in the earth, is a happy Yogi. Brahma, as the soul, considering himself as the soul, seeing and enjoying it, came and stood near that Parikshit. There are no signs that he is a sage. He's in the guise of an Avadhoota. He was surrounded by children. The SukhaYogi was around 40 years old. One who has delicate feet, a hump, arms, shoulders, hands, and cheeks. He has beautiful and wide eyes, a long nose He who has a face that is beautiful, with ears that are equal, and eyebrows that match the beauty. One with a voice like a conch, one with deep ankles, one with a heart of tall muscles, one with a swirling belly, one with a beautiful belly with wrinkles, is naked.

The hair is drizzling on the face. The arms are long and flowing. He shone like a god. A person with a fair complexion, who is of a youthful age, and whose body is radiant and has a gentle smile, attracts women. All the sages who had reached Parikshit, seeing the Sukha Yogini who had come there, having seen his radiance with a secret aura, rose from their respective seats. Vishnu Ratu, Parikshit, bowed his head to the guest who had come to him, and performed the worship. The children who followed him turned back. Sukha, however, sat on a seat offered by the king. He is the one who is beyond the reach of great men. He shone like the moon among the sages, among the planets. He was in a peaceful mood. Without any kind of ignorance or covering, his intellect is questioning. The great devotee Parikshit, bowing his head and saluting, stood with his hands joined in prayer, and with a sweet voice, he asked the sorrowful woman thus. Oh, we are among the Kshatriyas Even though we are vile, by your coming we have become holy and worthy to be blessed by the righteous. You have made us pure by being a guest. Should I say that the house is sanctified by the remembrance of such great men, that they come and touch the feet of those who have just seen, and with the water of their feet, with that seat acceptance, my servant who has been blessed is sanctified? Just as the demonic powers cannot stand in the presence of Vishnu, similarly, any strong sin in your presence, a great yogi, will be destroyed immediately. Lord Krishna is always with us. Because he is dear to the Pandava's sons, their grandson, and their aunt, Konthi, who is a sage, has been pleased with me and has blessed me. Therefore, today I have received your darshan. Without the grace of God, even to recognize worldly life, you do not even allow to live in forests. You, being worldly, are ready to die doing sinful deeds. Please grant me your sight. It's the grace of God that makes you here. You are the supreme guru of yogis, therefore I am asking you a question. Die

What should a person who is ready do to attain liberation? What should I listen to? What should I chant? Who should be remembered? What all should not be done? I pray that you will not hear what is not to be heard, that you will not remember what is not to be remembered. You do not come to the houses of the householders, even if you come, I will say that it will last longer than the time it takes to knead cow's milk. Offering prayer that you would bless me and grant me the means to achieve my goal. This Sukha Yogi, hearing the question of Parikshit, granted him the ability to answer with a soft and sweet voice. With this, the first book is completed for us. After this, let's find out what else Shukdu said in the podcast. Jai Srimannarayana. Salutations to the Asmadgurus
