అట్టి స్థానమును పొందవలెనని నీవు మనస్సులో కోరుచున్నావని నేను ఎరింగితిని. నీవు కొంతకాలము రాజ్యమును పాలించి తరువాత అట్టి స్థానమును పొందెదవు. నీ తండ్రి ఉత్తానపాదుడు రాజ్యమును నీకు వసంగి వానప్రస్థమును స్వీకరించి అడవికి ఏగిన తరువాత నీవు రాజువగుదువు రాజువగుదువు. వరుణాశ్రమ ధర్మములను పాలించుచు రక్షించుచు 36 వేల సంవత్సరములు రాజ్యము పాలింతువు. ఇంద్రియ జయము కలవాడవై పరిపాలింతువు. నీ సోదరుడగు ఉత్తముడు వేటకేగి చనిపోవును. కుమారుని యందు ప్రేమ గల ఉత్తముని తల్లి సురుచి. కార్చిచ్చులో ప్రవేశించి చనిపోవును. నీవు యజ్ఞములకు ప్రభువైన నన్ను పుష్కలముగా దక్షిణలిచ్చి యజ్ఞములను ఆచరించి అనుభవింపదగిన భోగములన్నిటినీ అనుభవించి చివర శరీరమును విడిచెడి సమయమున నన్ను స్మరించెదవు. అప్పుడు నీవు సప్తర్షుల కంటే ఉన్నతముగు స్థానమును పొందెదవు. వెనుకకు రాక అతడినే ఉండి చివర నా స్థానమునకు వత్తువు. ఈ విధంగా భగవానుడు. అతడు తన పదమును పొందునట్లు అనుగ్రహించెను. ఆ బాలుడు చూచుచుండగానే శ్రీహరి తన స్థానమగు శ్రీ వైకుంఠమున కేకెను. ధృవుడు భగవానుని సేవించి తాను కోరిన ఫలమును పొందినాడు. కృత్రిమమైన సుఖములనే పొందినాడు కానీ స్వాభావికమగు ఆనందమును పొందలేదని అతని మనస్సున సంతృష్టి కలగలేదు. అట్టి అసంతృష్టిలోనే పఠనునకేగినాడు. విదురుడు మైత్రుడిని అడుగుచున్నాడు. ఇతరులు ఎవ్వరును పొందుటకు శక్యము కాని పదమును భగవత్ పాదారవింద సేవనముచే ఒక్క జన్మలోనే పొందినాడు కదా! ఏదో కొరత ఉన్నట్లు అసంతృప్తితోనే ఏలమరలినాడు? మైత్రేయుడు విదురునకు చెప్పుచున్నాడు. సవధి తల్లి ఆడిన మాటలకు మనసు బాధపడి భగవానుని ఆరాధించినాడు. ఎన్నో జన్మలు మరల మరల ఉపాసించిన గాని పొందలేని భగవత్ సమాశ్రయనము. దర్శనము ధ్రువునకు లభించినది. కానీ అతనికి వాసనా బలముచే ఆత్మాభిమానము, స్వతంత్ర బుద్ధి తొలగక భగవత్పాద సన్నిధిని ఉండెడి భాగ్యము పొందలేకపోయెను. అందుచే అతడు పశ్చాత్తాపం పడుచున్నాడు.

ముక్తిని వశంగా జాలిన ముక్తినాధుడే ఎదురుగా కనిపించినను ముక్తిని కోరక ఉన్నతమైన పదమును కోరినాడు. అందుకే అతడు ఇట్లు పశ్చాత్తాప పడుచున్నాడు. సనందాదులు ఊర్ధ్వరేతస్కులై అనేక జన్మలలో పొందిన భగవత్ సాక్షాత్కారమును నేను పొందగలిగితిని. ఎంత భాగ్యశాలిని! ఏమి ప్రయోజనము దీన్ని నిలుపుకొనలేక దూరమైతిని. ఎంత అదృష్టవంతుడను! నా దౌర్జన్యము చూడుడు. మరల జన్మలు పొందనవసరం లేకుండా. శాశ్వతముగా సంసారమును అంతమొందించి తన వద్దనే ఉంచుకొనజాలిన స్వామి పాదములను పొంది ఉండిపోయేడు ఒక పదవిని కోరాలి. కానీ నేను అట్లు కోరనైతిని. దేవతలే నా బుద్ధిని చలింప చేసినారు. ఎంత కాలం అనుభవించినను మరల క్రింద పడెడి వారు దేవతలు. వారు నేను వారి కంటే ఉన్నతమైన పదవిని పొందుట సహింపలేక నా బుద్ధిని చలింప చేసినారు. ఈ సాంసారికమైన భోగములను కోరునట్లు చేసినారు. నారదుడు సూచన మాత్రముగా నాకు చెప్పినాడు కానీ నేను గ్రహింపలేకపోతిని. ఈ సత్వరజస్తమో గుణములు గల మాయ అనగా ప్రకృతి మన ప్రయత్నముచే దాటగలిగినది కాదు. అందుచేతనే నేనే ఇట్టి కోరికను కోరినాను. నా సోదరుడే శత్రువని వానికంటే ఉన్నతిని పొందవలెనని కోరినాను. నేను కోరిన కోరిక వ్యర్థమైనది. జగత్తుకు అంతకు అంతరాత్మ అయిన భగవానుడు నా తపస్సుకు సంతసించి దర్శనమిచ్చినాడు. అయ్యో ఎంత దురదృష్టవంతుడను మరల సంసారమును కోరుకుంటిని. ఆ భగవానుడు అనుగ్రహించినచో కర్మవశుడను కాక స్వరాట్నై ముక్తైశ్వర్యం పొంది ఉండవచ్చును. ధనము లేనివాడు దురదృష్టవంతుడు సార్వభౌముని వద్దకు వెళ్లి డొల్లు గింజలను కోరుకునినట్లు భగవానుడు చేరి సాంసారికమైన ఉన్నత పదమును కోరినాను. మైత్రేయుడు ఇట్ల అనుచున్నాడు. ముకుంద పదారవింద పరాగము పొందెడి భాగ్యము లభించినను భగవంతుని ధ్యానమే కావలెనని కోరిక కలుగుట చాలా దుర్లభం. లోక భోగములయందు ఆసక్తమై ఉన్న మనస్సు అదృష్టవశమున ఒకనాడు ఉన్నతిని పొందినను విషయ వాసనలు వదలవు. ధ్రువుడు తిరిగి వచ్చుచున్నాడని తెలిసెను. చనిపోయిన వాడు మరలి వచ్చుచున్నాడు అనిన నమ్మిక కలుగుట ఎంత కష్టమో అట్లే ఉత్తానపాదునకు

ధ్రువ కుమారుడు తిరిగి వచ్చుతున్నాడు అనే మాటపై నమ్మకం కలుగుట లేదు. దురదృష్టవంతుడైన నాకు అంతటి భాగ్యము లభించునా అని బాధపడెను. కానీ నారదుడు త్వరలో నీ కుమారుడు వచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పినాడు. కనుక తప్పక తిరిగి వచ్చునని పరవశుడై ఆ వార్త తెచ్చిన వానికి విలువైన ఆహారము అధికముగా ధనము వసంగెను. బంగారు రథముతో అధిరోహించి ఉత్తమాశ్వరులను పూన్చిన రథము ముందునకు నడుచుండగా బ్రాహ్మణులు, కులవృద్ధులు, అమాత్యులు, బంధువులు మొదలగు వారు అందరూ రథం ముందు నడుచుండగా ధ్రువుడు పట్టణమునకు వచ్చుతున్నాడు. శంఖములు, దుంధుములు మ్రుగుచుండెను. వేద ఘోష, వేణు, వీణాది వాద్యములు సాగుచుండెను. పట్టణము నుండి కుమారుని చూడవలెనని ఉత్సాహముతో సునీతి, సురుచి బంగారు పాలకీలో ఎక్కి ఉత్తముడు అను పేరు గల తన కుమారునితో కూడా ఎదురెగిరి. ఉత్తానపాదుడు తన కుమారుని చూచి రథము నుండి తొందరగా దిగినాడు. కుమారుని ప్రేమతో గాఢముగా ఆలింగనము చేసుకునినాడు. భగవంతుని పాదస్పరశచే ఆధ్యాత్మికాది బంధములన్నియు తొలగిపోయిన వాని దేహమును తండ్రి గాఢముగా కౌగలించుకొనెను. తీవ్రమైన కోరికతో తన కుమారుని చల్లని ఆనంద భాష్మములతో తడుపుచు శిరస్సుపై మూర్కొనినాడు. ధ్రువుడు తండ్రి పాదములపై పడి నమస్కరించినాడు. ఆశీర్వాదమును పొందినాడు. సజ్జన శ్రేష్టుడగు ధ్రువుడు తల్లులనిద్దరినీ సమముగా ఆదరముతో నమస్కరించెను. పాదములపై పడిన బాలుని సవతి తల్లి సురుచి లేవనెత్తెను. కౌగలించుకొనెను. కన్నీటిచే గద్గదమైన హక్కుతో వాక్కుతో చిరంజీవ అనెను. భగవానుడు ఎవరిపై అనుగ్రహమును చూపునో వానికి సమస్త భూతములు వినయముతో వంగి నమస్కరించును. వానికి వశమగును. పల్లమునకు నీరు తిరిగినట్లు భగవద్ అనుగ్రహ పాత్రులు వైపు అందరి మనస్సులు పరుగెత్తును. ఉత్తముడు ధ్రువుడు ఒకరినొకరు ప్రేమతో ఒడలు తెలియక కన్నీరు వదులుచు ఒడలు గగుర్పడుచుండగా కౌగలించుకొనిరి. సునీతి ధ్రువుని తల్లి ఆమెకు కుమారుడు ప్రాణముల కంటే ప్రియమైనవాడు అతనిని కౌగలించుకొని వాని

శరీర స్పర్శచే పరమానందమునంది మానసికమైన దిగులను వదిలెను. ఆమె కంటి నుండి మంగళకరములగు ఆనంద భాష్పములు ప్రవశించుచుండెను. జనలందరును ఆమెను చూచి అమ్మ అదృష్టవంతురాలవు నీ కుమారుడు నీ బెంగను తొలగించుచు వచ్చినాడు. అతడు ఈ భూమండలమును పాలించగలడు. ప్రజలందరు ఉత్తానపాదుని ఓ రాజా నీవు భగవదారాధన చేసిన పుణ్యాత్ముడవు అందుచే ఆర్తి తొలగిన కుమారుడు లభించినాడు. భోగదారాధన వర్ణించువాడు పొంద శక్యము కానిది ఏదీ ఉండదు. మృత్యువును కూడా వారు జయింపగలరు. ఇట్లందరూ ఆనందించుచుండగా ఉత్తానపాదుడు ధ్రువుని అతని సోదరుడగు ఉత్తముని ఎనుగుపై ఎక్కించి అందరూ స్థితించుచుండగా పట్టణముకు తోడుచుకొని వచ్చెను. త్రోవలో స్వాగత సూచకముగా తోరణములను అమరిచ్చిరి. అరటి బోదలు నాటిరి. పోక చెట్లు అంతటా నిలబెట్టిరి. మామిడి కొమ్మలు, జెండాలు, మాలికలు, ముత్యాల హారములు మార్గములో వేలాడదీసిరి. ద్వార ద్వారమున పూర్ణ కలశములు దీపములు స్థాపించిరి. ప్రాకారములు, గోపురములు, శిఖరములు మంగారు కాంతుడితో ప్రకాశించుచుండెను. నాలుగు మార్గముల కూడలులు రథములు సంచరించని మార్గములు తుడిచి తుడిచి పన్నీరు చల్లి చందనపు కల్లాపు వేసి లాజలు లక్షతలు చల్లి పూలతో పండ్లతో అందముగా అలంకరించిరి. పరస్త్రీలు దారిలో వచ్చుచున్న ధ్రువునకు అక్షతలు, పెరుగు, సిద్ధార్థములు, నీరు, దూర్వలు, పుష్పములు, పండ్లు పళ్ళెములలో అమర్చుకొని స్వాగతము చెప్పుచుండిరి. ఆశీస్సులను పలుకుచుండిరి. కొందరు మధురముగా గానము చేయుచుండిరి. వాటిని అన్నింటినీ వినుచు ధృవుడు తండ్రి గారి భవనంలో ప్రవేశించెను. వారి భవనము మణిమయము. ఆ భవనములో తండ్రి లాలించుచుండగా స్వర్గములో ఉన్నట్లు ఉండెను. ఆ భవనంలో పాల నురు గల వంటి పానుపుల మధ్య బంగారు తాపిన దంతపు మంచములు వెలువైన ఆసనములు అమర్చిరి. అచట గోడలన్నియు స్ఫటికములతో మరకత మణులతో అమర్చి ఉండెను. మణిదీపములు ప్రకాశించుచుండెను. ఆ భవనమునకు చుట్టూను మనోహరములగు ఉద్యానవనములు.

అందు విచిత్రములకు పారిజాతములకు మొదగులకు వృక్షములు కూయుచున్న పక్షుల జంటలు మకరందమున త్రాగి మత్తిల్లిన తుమ్మెదల జంకారములు ఒప్పుచుండెను. ఆ ఉద్యానవనములలో దిగుడు బావులు వాటికి వైఢూర్యమునులతో మెట్లు ఏర్పరిచిరి. అందులో పద్మములు కలువలు నిండుగా ఉండెను. హంసలు, కారండవములు, చక్రవాకములు, సారసములు మొదలగు జలపక్షులందు వృద్ధ చేయుచుండెను. రాజర్షి ఉత్తానపాదుడు తన కుమారుని ప్రభావమును విని చూచి ఆశ్చర్యము నొందెను. కొద్ది రోజుల తరువాత అతనికి యవ్వనం వచ్చెను. మంత్రులందరూ ధ్రువుని పట్టాభిషేకమును సమ్మతించిరి. ప్రజలు అతనిని అభిమానించిరి. అందుచే రాజు ధ్రువుని రాజుగా పట్టాభిషేకము చేసెను. వార్ధక్యం వచ్చుడచే ఉత్తానపాదుడు విరక్తి కలవాడై ముక్తి ఉపాయమును అన్వేషించుచు వనమునకేగెను. ఆ తర్వాత జరిగిన భాగాన్ని మరో పాడ్కాస్ట్ లో మనం తెలుసుకుందాం. జై శ్రీమన్నారాయణ అస్మద్ గురుభ్యో నమః

Your father Uttanapada, after entrusting the kingdom to you and accepting the forest life, you will become king, you will become king. Obeying and protecting the dharma of Varunashrama, you will rule the kingdom for 36,000 years. You will rule with the conquest of the senses. Your brother, the best one, will die in the hunt. Suruchi, the mother of the virtuous one who has love for her son. The fireman will enter the fire and die. You, who are the lord of sacrifices, give generously to me, perform the sacrifices, and experience all the pleasures to be enjoyed, and at the time when you leave the body, you will remember me. Then you will obtain a position higher than the seven sages. Don't come back, stay with him and push him to my place. Bhagwan Das said, in this way. He granted him the position. He obtained artificial pleasures, but he did not obtain the natural joy, and his mind did not feel satisfied. He was asked to recite in such dissatisfaction. Vidur asks Maitreyi. He attained a state that was impossible for anyone else to attain, by serving the lotus feet of the Lord, in just one lifetime, didn't he! Why did he worry with dissatisfaction that there was some shortage? Maitreyi is telling Vidura. Savadhi, heartbroken by the words spoken by his mother, worshipped the Lord. Even after worshiping again and again for many births, one cannot attain the refuge of God. The vision was received by Dhruva. But because of the strength of his smell, he could not attain the fortune of having the presence of the feet of God without losing self-respect and independent intellect. Therefore, he is repenting.

Muktinatha, who was captivated by liberation, even though he appeared before him, did not desire liberation but desired a higher state. That is why he is repenting so much. Sanandadu, having attained the divine realization of God in many births through the means of upward movement, I have been able to attain it. How fortunate! What is the use? I couldn't hold it and went far away. I'm so lucky! Look at my tyranny. Without being reincarnated. Having permanently ended the world, he obtained the feet of the Lord, who could not be kept with him, and he remained. He should ask for a position. But I didn't ask for that. The gods have maddened my senses. Those who fall down again, even after experiencing so much, are gods. They could not bear that I received a higher position than them, so they disturbed my mind. They have made it so that people want these worldly pleasures. Narada only gave me a suggestion, but I couldn't understand it. This illusion, which has the qualities of sattva, rajas, and tamas, is not something that can be overcome by our efforts. That is why I wanted to make this request. "My brother!" I wanted to be superior to him, even though he is an enemy. My wish was hopeless. The Lord, who is the inner self of the world, was pleased with my penance and gave me a vision. Oh, how unfortunate I am, I desire family again. If that God bestows grace, I may not be bound by karma, but I may attain liberation and wealth. The one without wealth is unlucky, like one who goes to the sovereign and asks for worthless seeds, the Lord reached and desired the high position of worldly affairs. Maitreyi said like this. Even though one has the fortune to attain the grace of Mukunda Padaravinda, it is very rare to have a desire to meditate on God. The mind, being engrossed in worldly pleasures, even if elevated by good fortune, does not abandon worldly desires. It was learned that Dhruva was returning. How difficult it is to have faith that the dead one is returning, just like that to Uttanapada

There is no belief that the son of Dhruva is returning. He was saddened by the thought that he would receive such a fate. But Narada said that your son will come soon. Therefore, being ecstatic that he would surely return, the one who brought the news received valuable food and more wealth. As the golden chariot, adorned with excellent horses, was proceeding forward, Brahmins, elders, ministers, relatives, and others were all walking in front of the chariot, and Dhruva was coming to the town. The conch and the drums are sounding. The sound of the Vedas, the flute, and other musical instruments were playing. With the enthusiasm to see her son from the town, Suneeti, Suruchi, boarded the golden palanquin and also went with her son named Uttamudu. Uttanapada quickly got down from his chariot, seeing his son. He embraced his son with love. The father embraced the body of the one whose spiritual bonds were broken by the touch of the feet of God. Severe With a desire, he bathed his son with cool, joyful tears and prostrated himself on his head. Dhruva prostrated himself at his father's feet. He was the one who received the blessings. The virtuous and noble Dhruva respectfully and reverently bowed to both mothers. Suruchi, the stepmother of the boy who fell at her feet, lifted him up. She embraced him. With a tearful voice, she said, "Long live!" Whomsoever the Lord shows grace upon, all beings bow down and worship with humility. He will be controlled. Just as water flows to the shore, everyone's minds run towards those worthy of God's grace. Uttamudu and Dhruvudu, unknowingly shedding tears of love, embraced each other, their bodies trembling. Mango branches, flags, garlands, and pearl necklaces were hung along the path. At the door, full pots and lamps were installed. The walls, towers, and spires were shining with the moonlight. The junctions of the four paths are the paths where chariots do not travel Wiping and wiping, spreading paneer, applying sandalwood paste, sprinkling lajalu and lakshatalu, decorating beautifully with flowers and fruits. The women, while passing by, were placing akshatalu (turmeric rice), curd, siddhārthamulu (sacred rice), water, durvālu (a type of grass), flowers, and fruits in a plate and welcoming Dhruva. Receiving blessings. Some were singing sweetly. Hearing all of them, Dhruva entered his father's house. Their building is jeweled. In that building, while the father was praying, it was as if he was in heaven. In that building, among the palanquins with milk-white finishes, golden-plated ivory beds and seats were arranged. There, all the walls were decorated with crystals and ruby gems. The lamps are shining brightly. The building is surrounded by beautiful gardens.

And the pairs of birds flying, singing, and chirping, as if they were singing, were agreeable to the nectar-drinking and intoxicated buzzing of the bees. In those gardens, they had steps made with steps and wells. In it, lotuses and water lilies were full. Among the swans, karandavas, chakravakas, and sarasam, etc., he was growing old. King Uttanapada was surprised to hear and see the influence of his son. He came of age after a few days. All the ministers agreed to Dhruva's coronation. The people were fond of him. Therefore, the king crowned Dhruva as king. Because of old age, Uttanapada, being detached, went to the forest in search of a means of liberation. We'll find out more in the next podcast.
