జై శ్రీమన్నారాయణ అస్మద్గురుభ్యో నమః నమస్యే పురుషం త్యాద్యం ఈశ్వరం ప్రకృతేః పరం అలక్ష్యం సర్వభూతానాం అంతర్బహిరవస్థితం భగవత్ బంధువులారా శ్రీమద్ భాగవత తత్వ దీపిక ప్రథమ స్కంధం నాలుగవ భాగంలో పాడ్కాస్ట్ లో స్వాగతం. నైమిశారణ్యము దేవతలు ఆదరించుడి క్షేత్రం. బ్రహ్మ ప్రవర్తింపచేసిన సంసార చక్రం యొక్క నేమి రిమ్ ఈ క్షేత్రమునందు శిథిలమైనది అనగా ఇచ్చట సంసారం ప్రవర్తింపదు. నేమిహి సీర్యతే అత్ర ఇతి నేమిశం తదైవ నైమిశం అని దాని యొక్క ఉత్పత్తి. ఒకప్పుడు ఈ క్షేత్రమునందు నిరతిశయానంద ధామమగు పరమ పదమును పొందవలెనని కోరి. శౌనకాది మునులు వెయ్యి సంవత్సరములు చేయు సత్రయాగమును అనుష్ఠించినారు. వృత్తిక్కులే యజమానులై ఉండెడి యాగమును సత్రయాగమందురు. అట్టి సత్రయాగమును శౌనకాది మునులు చేయుచుండే. ఆ సత్రయాగమునందు ఒకనాడు శౌనకాది మునులు ప్రాతఃకాలముననే హోమము చేయదగిన నేయి, పాలు మొదలగు ద్రవ్యములతో అగ్నిని ఆరాధించి అనంతరం అచర కూర్చొని ఉన్న సూతుని సత్కరించి ఆదరంతో ఈ క్రింది విధంగా ప్రశ్నించిరి. అనగా నీకు శాస్త్రార్థ జ్ఞానము కలగకుండా చేయు అజ్ఞానమునకు కారణమగు పాపము లేదు. జాతిచే జ్ఞానమునకు యోగ్యత లేకున్నాను జ్ఞానమునందు యోగ్యతను కలిగించు సంస్కారం కలవాడవు. నీవు ఇతిహాసములను, పురాణములను, ధర్మశాస్త్రములను అధ్యయనము చేసినవాడవు. ఎన్నోసార్లు చెప్పి ఎందరికో వినిపించినవాడవు. వేదవేత్తలలో అగ్రేసరుడగు బాదరాయణ భగవానుడును పరమాత్మ తత్వమును ప్రకృతి పురుష తత్వములను ఎరింగిన వారలగు పరాశరుడు మొదలగు మునులు ఏ పురాణములను ఎరుంగుదురో వానినన్నిటినీ నీవు ఎరుంగుదువు.

మహాపురుషుల అనుగ్రహం నీకు పరిపూర్ణముగా లభించినది. నీవు వారికి అత్యంత ప్రియ శిష్యుడవు. గురువులు ప్రేమించిన శిష్యులకు రహస్యమైన విషయములు కూడా ఎరంగింతురు. మీరు వినిన పురాణములలో ఏది నిరతిశమైన శ్రేయస్సును కలిగించునదని నిర్ణింపబడి ఉన్నదో దానిని మాకు ఎరిగింపు ప్రార్థించుచున్నాం. ఈ కలియుగంలో మానవులు అల్పాయుర్ధాయం గలవారు. అందుచే భోగమును అనుభవించిన తరువాత కలగవలసిన మోక్షమునందు కోరిక కలుగుటకు అవకాశము తక్కువ. వారు బుద్ధులు కూడా విషయములను గ్రహించుటకు సమర్ధులు కావు. తాపత్రయములచే పీడింపబడుచుందురు. అదృష్టహీనులు. అందుచే వారు పొందదగిన ఫలమును పొందుటకు చేయదగిన కర్మలు ఆచరింపజాలిన వారు కారు. కర్మలు ఈ కలికాలంలో ఆచరించుటకు సాధ్యములు కావు. అందుచే ఏది వినినచో మనసులో పొందదగిన దానిని పొందవలెననేది నిశ్చయము కలిగి దానికే ప్రయత్నించి పొందగలమో అట్టి సారభూతమగు విషయమును మాకు ఎరంగింపుము. దాని ఎరుంగ వలెనడి శ్రద్ధ కలవారము మేము. సూతా, భగవాను దివ్య చరిత్రమే వినదగినదని పెద్దల వలె వింటివి. ఆ భగవానుడు వసుదేవునకు దేవకీ దేవి యందు కుమారుడిగా జన్మించినాడని విన్నాము. అట్లు జన్మించుటకు కారణం ఏమి? ఏమి చేయుటకు ఈ లోకమును అవతరించినాడు? ఈ శ్రీ కృష్ణావతారం లోకులకు క్షేమమును కలిగించునదని అభిష్టమును పొందుటకు సాధనమని వింటిమి. అనిష్టమును పరిహరించుటకు, ఇష్టమును కలిగించుటకు ఆ భగవానుడి నామమే ప్రధానముగు సాధనము. సంసారమనడి ఆపదను పొందిన వారు భగవన్ నామమును అప్రయత్నముగా పలికినను సంసార బంధుమును విడుడు. వినుట మాత్రమే కాదు. నామ సంకీర్తనము చేసిన వానిని చూచి సంసారం భయపడి మరల వాని దరికి చేరదు. భగవాని పాదారవిందములకు తమకు. ప్రాప్యమని మనసును దృఢముగా నమ్మిన వారు కూడా భగవానుని వంటి మహత్యమును కలిగి యుందురు. భగవద్భక్తుల పాదములను ఆదరించిన వారు కూడా ఆకాశ గంగా జలమును సేవించుటే సేవించుటచే ఎట్లు పవిత్రులగుదురో అట్లు పవిత్రులగుదురు. గంగకు భగవత్పాద సంబంధముచే తను సేవించిన వారి పాపములను తొలగించు శక్తి కలిగినది. అట్లే భగవత్ పాదారవిందములను ఆశ్రయించిన వారికి తమను సేవించిన వారి పాపములను తొలగించే శక్తి సహజంగా కలుగును.

భగవానుడు పుణ్య శ్లోకుడు. అనగా వినిన వారిని, కీర్తించిన వారిని కూడా పవిత్రము చేయువాడు. అతని చరిత్రము స్తుతింపదగినది. అతని యశస్సు. కలి మాలిన్యం నశింపచేయునదు. చిత్తశుద్ధి కావలెనని కోరెడు వారు భగవన్ నామములను చరిత్రలను తప్పక వినవలెను. భగవాను యొక్క ఉదారముల చరిత్రములను నారదాదులు గానము చేసినారు. భగవానుని లీలావతార చరిత్రములను వినవలెనటి త్వర కలిగిన మాకు వివరింప ప్రార్థించున్నాం. భగవత్ చరిత్రములను వినుటలో మాకు విసుగు కలగదు. చాలు అని అనిపించదు. రుచిని ఎరింగి వినిన వారలకు ప్రతి పదము మధురముగానే ఉండును. భగవానుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుడుగా అవతరించి బలరామునితో కలిసి కపట మానవుడై తన దివ్యత్వము బయలుపరచక మర్త్యులు చేయజాలని చేష్టితములన్నీ ఎన్నిటినో చేసినాడు కదా. కలియుగం వచ్చినది మరియు ఒక సాధనముచే ఈ కలిదోషములను దాటచాలమని మేము ఎరుంగుదుము. భగవత్ కథా శ్రవణము చేయవలెనని భగవత్ గుణములను అనుభవింపవలెనని ఉత్సాహం కలవారమై దీర్ఘ సత్రయాగమున విష్ణు సంబంధము గల ఈ నైమిజ క్షేత్రమున మేమందరము చేరి ఉన్నాము. వేరొక ఉపాయముచే దాటుటకు శక్యముగాని సంసార సముద్రమునందు పడవను నడిపిడి చుక్కాని తిప్పువానిగా నిన్ను మాకు భగవానుడు చూపినాడు. యోగేశ్వరుడును బ్రాహ్మణ కులమునందు ప్రేమ గలవాడును ధర్మమునకు కవచం వలె రక్షకుడును భక్తి యోగముచే సేవింపదగునవాడును ఆగు శ్రీకృష్ణుడు నేడు వైకుంఠమునకేగినాడు. కలియుగం ప్రవేశించింది ధర్మమునకు రక్షకుడు ఎవరూనూ లేరు. ధర్మము శ్రీకృష్ణుని శరణు పొంది ఉన్నది. ఆ కృష్ణ చరిత్రము వినిన ధర్మమును బాధించు కలి తన ప్రభావమును చూపలేదు. అందుచే కలి దోషమును హరించడి కృష్ణ చరిత్రను మాకు ఎరుంగింపుము. తర్వాత భాగం మరో పాడ్కాస్ట్ లో తెలుసుకుందాం. జై శ్రీమన్నారాయణ అస్మద్ గురుభ్యో నమః
