చిటికలు వేసి చేయి తిప్పవలెను, ఇట్లు అంగన్యాస కరణ్యాసములు చేసి జ్ఞాన శక్తి బలైశ్వర్య వీర్య తేజస్సులు అన్నిటి శక్తులతో కూడిన పరమాత్మను తమ మనస్సుతో ధ్యానము చేయవలెను. ఇట్లు ధ్యానము చేయుచు విద్యా, తేజస్సు, తపస్సు శరీరముగా గల శ్రీమన్నారాయణుని గూర్చి ఈ కవచమును చదవలెను. ఆనాడు హరి అనే అవతారమును ధరించి గజేంద్రుని రక్షించినట్లు గరుత్మంతుని వీపుపై పాదపద్మమును ఉంచిన వాడై శంఖము, చక్రము, కత్తి, డాలు, గద, బాణము, ధనస్సు, పాశము అను ఎనిమిది ఆయుధములను ఎనిమిది హస్తముల యందు ధరించిన ఎనిమిది బాహువులు గల ఎనిమిది గుణములు ఆవిర్భవించి ఉండెడి నారాయణుడు నాకు అన్ని వైపులను రక్షణ కలిగించు కాక. జలములో మత్స్యమూర్తి అయిన శ్రీమన్నారాయణుడు జల జంతువుల నుండి వరుణ పాశము నుండి నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. జలము లేని నిర్జల ప్రదేశములలో మాయావటుడగు వామనుడై అవతరించిన నారాయణుడు నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. బలి వద్ద దానము పట్టి పెరిగి మూడు పాదములతో మూడు లోకములను కొలిచిన విశ్వరూపుడైన త్రివిక్రముడగు నారాయణుడు నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. అడవులలో, యుద్ధ భూములలో, దుర్గ స్థానములలో సమర్ధుడై అసుర సేనా నాయకులను ఎదిరించి సంహరింపజాలిన నృసింహ రూపియగు నారాయణుడు నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. ఏ నరసింహము నరసింహమూర్తి యొక్క భయంకరమగు మహాట్టహాసముచే దిక్కులు ప్రతిధ్వనించి గర్భములు జారినవో అట్టి నారాయణుడు నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. తన కోరతో నీటిలో మునిగిన భూమిని ఏ యజ్ఞరూపియగు వరాహరూపియగు నారాయణుడు ఎత్తి పట్టి తనకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చిన దుర్మార్గుడవు హిరణ్యాక్షుని సంహరించినాడో అతడు మార్గమున ప్రయాణం చేయునప్పుడు రక్షించుగాక. పర్వత శిఖరముల యందు పరశురాముడుగా అవతరించిన నారాయణుడు నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. దేశమును వదలి పై దేశమునకేగినప్పుడు లక్ష్మణుడితో కూడిన భరతాగ్రజుడైన శ్రీరామ రూపమున నన్ను నారాయణుడు రక్షించుగాక.

క్రూరములగు అభిచారములు అనగా చేతబడులు మొదలగు ప్రమాదముల నుండి నారాయణుడు రక్షించు గాక. నారాయణుడును సోదరుడును శిష్యుడైన నరుడును గర్వముతో ఒకరి ఒకరు చూసి హాసము చేయుట నుండి రక్షించు గాక. దత్తాత్రేయుడుగా అవతరించిన నారాయణుడు యాగమునకు విరోధులు నన్ను ఆక్రమింపకుండా రక్షించుగాక జ్ఞానప్రదాతగు కపిలుడుగా అవతరించిన నారాయణుడు దురిత కర్మ బంధము నుండి విడిపించుగాక సనత్ కుమారుడు కామదేవుడు నన్ను ఆక్రమించిన కోరికలను పెంచకుండా కాపాడుగాక వేదములను అపహరించి దేవతలను హేళనము చేసిన మధుకైటబులను సంహరించిన హయగ్రీవుడు దేవ హేళనముచే కలిగెడి పాపము నుండి రక్షించుగాక. సంతతము భగవదారాధన పరుడగు నారదుడు భగవదారాధనలో విచ్ఛేదము కలగకుండా కాపాడుగాక. కూర్మ రూపయుగు శ్రీహరి సకల విధములగు పాపముల నుండి ఉద్ధరించుగాక. వైద్య శ్రేష్టుడగు ధన్వంతరి అను నారాయణుడు ఆరోగ్యమును పాడు చేయు అపథ్యముల నుండి నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. మనస్సును జయించిన వాడుగా శీతోష్ణాదులను సహించువాడుగా ప్రసిద్ధి నందిన వృషభ దేవుడు సుఖ దుఃఖముల నుండి శీతోష్ణాదుల నుండి కలతనందకుండా కాపాడుగాక. యజ్ఞరూపియగు నారాయణుడు లోకులు పలికెడి అపవాదముల నుండి రక్షించుగాక. బలభద్రుడు దుర్జనులు కల్పించెడి ఉపద్రముల నుండి రక్షించుగాక. శేషుడు పగపెట్టుకొని బాధించెడి సర్పముల నుండి కాపాడుగాక. జ్ఞాన పురుషుడగు ద్వైపాయన మహర్షి అజ్ఞానం నుండి కాపాడు గాక. నారదుడు, దత్తాత్రేయుడు, సనత్ కుమారుడు, నరుడు, బలుడు, అనంతుడు అను వారందరూ. నారాయణుని అంశావతారములే అందుచే వారందరి రూపముగా ఉన్న నారాయణుడు రక్షించవలెనని ప్రార్థించుచున్నారు. పరశురాముడు, కపిలుడు, ధన్వంతరి, వృషభదేవుడు అను వారలు నారాయణుని ఆవేశావతారములు అందులో వారిచే వారిలో ఆవేశించి ఉన్న నారాయణుడు రక్షించవలెనని ప్రార్థించినారు. మోహమును కలిగించడి శాస్త్ర బోధలచే మనసు చెడకుండా బుద్ధుడు కాపాడుగాక. కలి దోషమును తొలగించి ధర్మ రక్షణముకై కల్కిగా అవతరించిన నారాయణుడు.

కలిదోషం అంటకుండా కాపాడుగాక. దినములో ఆయా భాగములలో కేశవాది మూర్తులు రక్షించవలెనని రక్షపెట్టుచున్నారు. పగలు ఆరు భాగములు, రాత్రి ఆరు భాగములు అయి ఉండును. కేశవాది ద్వాదశ మూర్తులు ఆయా భాగములలో రక్ష కల్పింపవలెని కోరుచున్నారు. కేశవుడు గద, కేశవుడు గద దాల్చి నన్ను ప్రాతఃకాలమున రక్షించుగాక. సంగమ కాలమున వేణువు దాల్చిన గోవిందుడు నన్ను రక్షించుగాక. సూర్యోదయము నుండి ఐదు గడియలు కాలము దాటిన తరువాత సంగమ కాలం. శక్తి నడి ఆయుధమును ధరించి ఉన్న శ్రీమన్నారాయణుడు పూర్వాన్నమునందు రక్షించుగాక. చక్రము చేతిలో దాల్చిన విష్ణువు మధ్యాహ్న కాలమందున రక్షించుగాక. ఉగ్రముకు ధనస్సును దాల్చిన మధుసూదనుడు అపరాహ్న కాలమును రక్షించుగాక. మూడు స్థానములందు ప్రకాశించు మాధవుడు సాయంకాలమందు రక్షించుగాక. ప్రదోష కాలమందు ఋషికేశుడు రక్షించుగాక. అర్ధరాత్రమునందు అనగా నిషీధమునందు పద్మనాభుడు అపరరాత్రమునందు రక్షించుగాక. ప్రత్యూష కాలమందు ఖడ్గమును ధరించిన జనార్ధనుడు రక్షించుగాక ప్రాతః సంధ్యా సమయమునందు దామోదరుడు కాపాడుగాక కాలమూర్తియగు భగవానుడు విశ్వనియంత అయి ప్రభాతమును నన్ను కాపాడుచుండుగాక ప్రాతఃకాలము ప్రత్యూషము ప్రభాతము అనవి మూడును ప్రాతఃకాలమునందలి ముందు వెనక భాగములు. భగవానుని యొక్క అస్త్రములు రక్షింపవలెనని ప్రార్థించుచున్నారు. ప్రళయ కాలమందలి అగ్ని వలె తీక్ష్ణమైన అంచు కలిగి చుట్టూను తిరుగుచు శత్రువులను సంహరించు భగవానుడు ప్రయోగించిన చక్రము. వాయు సహాయముగా గల అగ్ని ఎండుగడ్డిని దహించినట్లు శత్రు సైన్యమును దహించుగాక. పిడుగు వలె మిడుగురులు వెదులుచున్నవో గదా నీవు అజితుడగు భగవానునకు. ప్రియమైన దానవు, నేను ఆ భగవానుని దాసుడను. కావున కుష్మాండ, వినాయక, యక్ష, రాక్షసులను, భూతములను, గ్రహములను బాగుగా పిండి చేయుము. శత్రువులను చూర్ణము చేయుము. ఓ శంఖరాజమా, శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువుచే పూరింపబడి భయంకరమగు ధ్వనిని ధ్వనించుచు నీవు శత్రువుల యొక్క హృదయములను వణికించుచు

యాతు ధాన ప్రమధ ప్రేత మాతృగణములను పిశాచ బ్రహ్మ రాక్షసాది ఘోర దృష్టి గల వారి నుండి వారిని నా నుండి దూరముగా పరిగెత్తిపోవునట్లు చేయుము. వాడి అయిన అంచు గల నందకము అను ఓ ఖడ్గమా భగవానునిచే ప్రయోగింపబడి నీవు నా శత్రువులను ఛేదింపుము. ఓ శతచంద్ర మనడి డాలు పాపాత్ములకు శత్రువుల తీవ్రముగు చూపులు నాపై పడకుండా నీవు అడ్డగించుచుండుము. గ్రహముల వలన కేతువుల వలన అనగా తోక చుక్కల వలన మనుష్యుల వలన పాముల వలన కోరలు జంతువు కోరలు గల జంతువుల వలన భూతముల వలన నాకు కలిగే ఉపద్రవములు అన్నియు భగవాను నామములను రూపములను కీర్తించుట వలన వెంటనే వినాశము నందుగాక. శ్రేయస్సు కలగకుండా అడ్డగించెడివి అన్నియు వెంటనే నశించుగాక. బృహత్సామ బృహత్సామ ఆదంతరసామ మొదలగు స్తోత్రములతో స్తోత్రము చేయునట్టి ఛందోమయుడగు సమర్ధుడైన గరుడు సమస్త ఆపదల నుండి మమ్ములను రక్షించుగాక. విశ్వక్సేనుడు తన నామములచే మమ్ములను రక్షించుగాక. శ్రీహరి నామములు, రూపములు, వాహనములు, ఆయుధములు, ఆభరణములు, పారిషధులు మున్నగునవి అన్నియు ఏ విధములకు ఆపదలు రాకుండా నా బుద్ధిని ఇంద్రియములను, మనస్సును, ప్రాణములను కాపాడుగాక. లోకములో చేతనా చేతనాత్మకమగు జగత్వంతయు వాస్తవముగా భగవానుడే. జగత్తు అంతయు భగవాత్మ భగవదాత్మకమే అనుట సత్యమైన విషయము. అబాధితమగు ఈ సత్యముచే నా ఉపద్రములు అన్నియు నాశనమగుగాక. భగవానుడు చేతనా చేతనాత్మకమగు జగత్తునకు అంతరాత్మ ప్రాకృతమగు దేవ మనుష్యాది నామరూప భేదము లేనివాడు తన సంకల్పము చేతనే తాను తనంతగా భూషణములను ఆయుధములను విగ్రహములను సృష్టించి సత్యముగా ధరించుచున్నాడు కనుక అట్టి సత్య సంకల్పం గల భగవానుడు తన సర్వ విధములకు స్వరూపములతో ఎల్లప్పుడూ అన్ని దేశములందు అన్ని కాలములయందు అంతటా తానుండి సర్వజ్ఞుడై సర్వరూపములతో మమ్ములను రక్షించుగాక.

May Narayana, who incarnated as Parashurama on the mountain peaks, protect me. When I leave this country and go to another country, may Narayana protect me in the form of Sri Rama, who is the elder brother of Bharata, along with Lakshmana.

May Narayana protect us from cruel acts, such as being possessed, and other dangers. May Narayana, the brother, the disciple, and the servant, be protected from laughing at each other out of pride. May Narayana, who incarnated as Dattatreya, protect me from those who oppose the Yagam, may Narayana, who incarnated as the giver of knowledge, Kapiludu, be freed from the bondage of sins and misdeeds, Sanat Kumara, Kamadeva, me May Hayagriva, who protected the Vedas from being stolen and ridiculed the gods, and who destroyed the Madhukaitabhas who plundered the Vedas, protect us from the sin caused by the mockery of the gods. May Narada, who is devoted to the worship of the Lord, protect us from any obstacles in the worship of the Lord. May Srihari, who is in the form of a tortoise, liberate us from all kinds of sins. Oh Narayana, the best of physicians, may you protect me from the unhealthy things that ruin health. The bull god, who is famous as the one who conquers the mind and endures the heat and cold, without being disturbed by happiness and sorrow, by the heat and cold May Narayana, who is the embodiment of sacrifice, protect us from the slanders spoken by the people. May Balabhadra protect us from the evil designs of the wicked. May Sheshudu protect from the serpents who are causing pain. May the sage Dwaipayana, the knower of the Vedas, protect us from ignorance. Narada, Dattatreya, Sanat Kumara, Narada, Baludu, Anantudu, all of them. They are the incarnations of Narayana. Therefore, they pray that Narayana, who is in the form of all of them, should protect them. Parashurama, Kapila, Dhanvantari, Vrishabhadeva, and others, in their fervent incarnations of Narayana, prayed that Narayana, who is enraged within them, should be protected. May the Buddha protect us from the mind, without causing it to be corrupted by the teachings of science. Narayana, who incarnated as Kalki to remove the Kali dosha and protect Dharma.
